ALL JET. NO LAG.

SEE THE LIGHT

Full spectrum LED lighting will help your body adjust as you cross time zones.

CABIN PRESSURE

The cabin altitude onboard the 787 is set a level 2,000 feet lower than other aircraft. Lower altitude means better oxygen absorption, resulting in fewer headaches, less dizziness and less travel fatigue.

HOW REFRESHING

An increase in humidity combined with advances in the air filtration system allow your skin, eyes, lips and nose to arrive refreshed.

FINAL TOUCHES

THE TRIMMINGS

The layered details onboard Air Canada’s 787 have been designed to provide passengers with a contemporary, sophisticated experience. Warm, natural textures, fabrics and colours, Slate Grey with hints of Canadian red and celeste blue, make an altitude of 38,000 feet feel a little more like home.

GREEN MACHINE

LESS IS MORE

The 787’s lightweight structure, aerodynamics, wing design and advances in engine technology significantly reduce emissions and fuel consumption, allowing you to not only fly efficiently, but fly farther.

HUSH, HUSH

A number of new technologies, including acoustically treated engine inlets and chevrons, are used to reduce noise for passengers onboard the aircraft, as well as community noise beyond airport boundaries.

HOW IT'S MADE

LIGHTWEIGHT

The composite material used in the construction of the 787 makes up 50% of the primary structure of the plane. Because composite material is lighter, it enables several enhancements, including cabin pressurization at a lower altitude, higher cabin humidity and less fuel consumption.

WORLD MADE

Components of the 787 are built around the world; from Winnipeg, to Sweden and all the way to Nagoya. The parts are then shipped via Boeing’s massive Dreamlifter aircraft to Everett, WA for final assembly.

TIME TRAVEL

SMOOTH SAILING

SIT STILL

Air Canada’s 787 is equipped with Smooth Ride Technology, which senses turbulence and makes automatic adjustments to the wing flaps to reduce it - so you can stay calm, and travel on.
